Charlie received a bachelor鈥檚 degree in economics with a minor in Finance from the University of Northern Iowa and a master鈥檚 degree in urban and Regional Planning from the University of Iowa.

Charlie works in community and regional planning across a variety of fields including housing, zoning ordinances, comprehensive planning, corridor planning and active transportation.聽He currently serves as a board member for the Iowa Chapter of the American Planning Association. He is a certified with the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and a member of the American Planning Association.
