The WAN Americas Awards celebrates why the Americas are seen as the global hub for modern architecture. Submissions showcase bold, innovative and visionary projects and elevate firms through global recognition across a variety of categories ranging from residential and commercial to cultural and sustainable design. 黄瓜社区鈥檚 design for the Des Moines University Medicine and Health Sciences Campus was listed as a finalist in the Institutions category.

Located in West Des Moines, Iowa, the campus integrates cutting-edge learning environments to prepare students for an evolving healthcare landscape. The campus is designed to be the largest LEED Silver and WELL Building Gold certified facility in the country and includes four interconnected buildings: the Edge of Advancement, the Innovation Building, the Wellness Building and the Campus Support Building, all linked by elevated pathways that encourage collaboration and accessibility.
